Green Day Friday Recap 10-24-14 and 10-31-14

Hey Zoo,

First off, you are all invited to a special taping of Pizza with Vaughan on Wednesday at 7 pm in the Events Center! Please wear your BU Zoo shirts! More details here

We had a great couple of weeks. Our women’s soccer team battled their way into the playoffs, and although they took a loss, they made us proud to be Bearcats after fighting to force penalty kicks. The men’s soccer team, meanwhile, clinched a playoff spot in the America East Tournament. We’ll keep you updated as their playoff game gets closer. The men’s basketball team won their preseason game, and are just two weeks away from their home opener. Women’s basketball opens their preseason on Friday at 7 pm at the Events Center. Finally, a big congratulations to the men’s cross country team for winning the America East Championship!

Hey Zoo,

Thanks so much for making Homecoming 2014 such a memorable one. Between Green Day Friday, the Basketball showcase, the soccer games and the tailgate, we had such a great time meeting new friends, and reconnecting with old ones. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights:

Hey Zoo, come support the men’s soccer team tomorrow night, 10/4/14, when they take on Hartford. Game starts at 7 PM. Then, come out on Sunday, 10/5/14, to see the women’s team battle UMass Lowell at 1PM. In the meantime, check out these photos from today’s Green Day Friday!
